This is a fully refurbished 542 series unit with new fresh food factory OEM evaporator. This is a rare model with the stainless tubular handles. It has no exterior flaws on either of the stainless steel doors. No dents, dings, or scratches on any of the stainless doors. The interior has updated LED lighting, appears complete and in very good condition. A couple of the bins may have some scuff marks on some of the glass shelves and clear plastic, but overall very good condition, but not 100% perfect. The handles may and often have small flaws or nicks that are not shown in frontal photos. Unit comes only as shown in the below photos regardless of the factory description pasted above. What you see in the photos is what you will get. We have been selling built-in refrigerators under our four EBay sites for the last 20 years and have over 4,000 positive feedbacks at 100%.This model is the best of both worlds. The exterior looks great, but this unit has no electronics, no circuit board, no sensors, and no touch pads to break. None of that stuff. It is a very simple design which almost any refrigerator guy can fix. All parts still available. Here are some parts which it could ever need: compressors are only $119 each, cold control $90, evaporator or condensor fan motors about $30 on Amazon, generic ice maker about $45 on Amazon. You see they cannot make this simple design anymore because government regulations won't allow them and people want fancy. Well fancy is not a good design for refrigeration - the simpler the better. Turning a mechanical knob to adjust the temp is better than an electronic push button and much easier to repair. As part of refurbishing, any required parts, we always install ONLY factory OEM Sub-Zero parts. We never use replacement or aftermarket parts from China imports. The Chinese parts are often 70% less in cost but they are substandard and often do not fit or are defective. We replace all Sub-Zero fresh food evaporators with new Sub-Zero evaporators on every 500 and 600 series model we sell. This is normally a $2,000 repair, since all SZ fresh food evaporators for these models will fail at some point do to corrosion. So, all these models, along with some 400 series models, will have new factory fresh food evaporators already installed when you receive the unit. We suggest you read about this on the internet.Let us explain how this works:If you buy a Sub-Zero unit the fresh food evaporator will corrode and fail. The Freon gas will leak out and the fresh food section will slowly get warmer until it no longer gets cold. This never happens to the freezer side. This occurs on the 400, 500, 600, 700 series models. Not sure about the BI series yet because they have not been out long enough. Then, the Sub-Zero refrigerator guy will make a $150 service call to your house and he will estimate the repair at around $2,000. You can add another $800, or more if he lies about the compressor being bad also, which they often do. Compressors do go out, but not that often and not at the same time. So you can assume that the majority of the Sub-Zero units being sold on Ebay have not had the fresh food evaporator replaced AND THAT IS WHY THEY ARE BEING SOLD. You can add another $2,000 to the price you pay because the part will fail. Additionally, seldom are the stainless steel doors described accurately since most will have some type of damage. The stainless doors are about $1,100 each, plus installation which can be a nightmare to align. We do offer a 14 day refund policy, but you have to pay both way shipping charges on a return.* All our items are professionally packaged and wood crated to ensure safe shipping.
